Road Opener Forgiveness Ritual

Forgiveness Ritual

Release, Reset & Open the Road

This ritual is all about clearing out old energy, letting go of what no longer serves you, and making space for fresh opportunities.

Forgiveness isn’t just about letting go of resentment—it’s about creating space for abundance to flow into your life. When we hold onto grudges, guilt, or anger, we’re energetically blocking ourselves from receiving the blessings and opportunities meant for us.

Releasing that weight allows you to align with higher vibrations, attracting love, success, and prosperity. Think of forgiveness as clearing out the clutter, making room for all the good things to come. Use this ritual anytime you're feeling stuck or ready to reset.

What You’ll Need:

  • Road Opener Candle - symbolizes clearing your path
  • Incense Cones - to cleanse the space
  • Two pieces of paper & a pen
  • Fireproof bowl - or safe area you can safely burn your forgiveness list
  • Bath salts - for a bath, foot soak, or dry cleansing
  • Bowl or basin (Optional) - if you are not using the bath salts in the bath or shower

Steps:

Step 1: Set the Scene

Light your incense and walk it around your space, saying:

"With this smoke, I clear away all stagnant energy and open the way for peace and abundance."

Place your Road Opener Candle at the center of your setup and light it. Let its flame symbolize clearing obstacles and creating new opportunities.

Step 2: Write It Out

On your first piece of paper, write, ‘I forgive…’ Let it flow. This is your space to release resentment, guilt, or heaviness—whether it’s towards others, situations, or yourself.

On the second piece, list everything you’re grateful for. This shifts your energy, replacing what you’ve released with positivity and abundance.

Step 3: Burn & Release

Carefully burn your forgiveness list in a fireproof bowl or dish. As the paper turns to ash, visualize the energy of what you’re releasing dissolving into the universe. Say:

"I release this with love and gratitude. I forgive, let go, and open the road ahead."

Step 4: Cleanse & Recharge

Choose your method:
  • Bath – Add bath salts to warm water. Soak and visualize the water washing away negativity, filling you with clarity and peace.
  • Shower – Mix salts with a little water to create a scrub. Gently exfoliate, imagining negativity rinsing away and fresh energy flowing in.
  • Foot Soak – Add salts to a bowl of warm water. Soak your feet, visualizing the water cleansing and refreshing your energy.
  • Hand Wash – Dissolve salts in a small bowl of water. Wash your hands, focusing on releasing negativity and welcoming clarity.
  • Dry Cleansing – Hold the salts in your hands, visualize their energy clearing negativity, then sprinkle them at your doorstep or workspace to refresh the space.

Step 5: Anchor & Affirm

Return to your candle and gratitude list. Read your gratitude list out loud, focusing on the abundance and blessings already in your life.

You can let the candle burn longer to amplify your intentions—just be sure to leave at least 1/2 inch of wax for safety. Or, gently snuff it out when you feel complete, thanking it for its energy.

Take three deep, intentional breaths. With each inhale, invite in fresh energy, and with each exhale, release any lingering tension.

Close by saying:

“The road is open, my spirit is free, and I am ready for all the blessings ahead. The energy is fresh, and I move forward with love and clarity.”

Optional: For added potency, try this ritual during the Full Moon, when energy for release and transformation is at its peak.
